Terrace Bel-Air

The objective of this development study on a nine-hole golf club was to reinforce the surrounding urban fabric which, over the years, had gradually enclosed this green space used for sports activities. To avoid completely denaturing its current use, the project proposed both a densification of the site and integration of the sports and recreational areas, to take advantage of the site’s natural features, including a river, wetlands, and large wooded area.

The proposed buildings, which are more densely distributed at the center of the site to promote better integration with the adjacent neighborhood, include numerous types of housing and small ground-floor shops in order to attract a mix of users and uses.
