Industrial Alliance Office Complex

This development potential study was conducted in 2007. Industrial Alliance, headquartered at 1080 Grande-Allée Ouest, owns the neighboring lots on Grande-Allée Ouest. The complex lacked sufficient parking space for all its employees as well as rental space for offices. 

The purpose of the study was to correct this shortcoming in harmony with the surrounding area. One of the solutions considered was to build an underground parking garage to replace the existing above-ground lot and at the same time densify and enhance the new space. The idea was to create a coherent and prestigious group of office buildings that blend into their environment.
