Description
The analyzed area aims the western portion of boulevard Charest, between the Saint-Sacrement avenue and Langelier boulevard. The study focuses on the boulevard itself but also on adjacent environments of the Saint-Sauveur district. In this area of 2.5 kilometres, the boulevard passes through different urban environments in which it essentially plays the role of regional transit axis. The analysis of landscape units is the basis of the principles of requalification. The study has allowed the realization of this reclassification that has literally transformed the course as we know it today.
