Description
The INAF, or Institut sur la Nutrition et les Aliments Fonctionnels, of Université Laval's Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences is a research center devoted entirely to food and the complex interactions between its components, nutrition and health. It is the largest group of researchers in this field in Canada.
ABCP architecture was commissioned to transform certain areas of the building so that they could better respond to the Institute's mission. The new laboratories were set up in an area that was originally an arena for observing livestock. These laboratories consist of an experimental kitchen and a consumption area, one of the objectives of which is to study food behavior (preparation and consumption).
