Polyvalente de L’Ancienne-Lorette auditorium

The goal of this project was to fully renovate the Polyvalente de L’Ancienne-Lorette high school auditorium, built in 1969, to bring it up to current requirements in terms of user experience, comfort, stage design, acoustics, and academic needs. The work was carried out in phases so the school could continue operating during renovations.

Since the auditorium is the school’s key assembly space, special attention was paid to the quality of the spaces, seats, and finishes. Auditorium acoustics were also an important factor here, both to ensure user comfort and block noise from the nearby main entrance.

In addition, the seats, lighting, and stage design systems were all completely replaced and the control room was redesigned. The renovated auditorium now offers an inviting and comfortable setting for school activities and outside productions and events.
