ABCP conducted this study on an intermodal station for the City of Beijing, which needed to expand its infrastructure to meet the needs of the city’s exploding population. The main advantages of this project were the efficient integration of transportation modes, optimized traffic flow, and connections between the different transportation modes. The proposed urban approach also included construction of public service, commercial, and residential buildings that would benefit from their proximity to public transit.
