Description

Given the development pressure on the extensive church properties along the cliffs of the historic borough of Sillery, the City of Quebec’s planning department commissioned ABCP to draw up a number of development strategies for the sector in question. As some of the properties present significant densification potential, the objective was to design buildings adapted to each site. The final result highlights the visual aspect of the projects, inspired by the surrounding environment and recognized bioclimatic principles. The size and architectural design of the proposed buildings blend seamlessly into their natural and built surroundings and reflect the potential contemporary character of these new, mainly residential developments.
