Montignac auditorium

The project involved renovating the auditorium at Polyvalente Montignac to enhance customer experience, comfort and academic needs. In addition to renovating the auditorium and adjacent reception and service areas, the project included refitting classrooms and an extension to accommodate storage space and the loading dock.

Objectives of the upgrade:
Artist comfort: More spacious and better-appointed dressing rooms, refreshed stage volume for greater possibilities in show design, reconditioned piano, improved hall ambience for warmer audience/artist contact, noise control from mechanical systems.

Artisan comfort: Functional FOH walkway, additional side lighting positions in the hall, multimedia systems and interconnections compatible with current rental and touring equipment to optimize and accelerate technicians' work, installation of a control room in the hall, new loading and unloading area.

Audience comfort: Inviting and better-equipped foyer, comfortable seats, corrected viewing angles, warm auditorium, revised multimedia equipment for a better quality show that meets audience expectations, improved listening qualities.
