La trappe

Park(ing) day is a global event open to all. Organized the third weekend of September, it mobilizes citizens, artists, activists to temporarily transform paid parking spaces into vegetal, artistic and convivial spaces. For a day, concreted spaces become places of committed, original, creative and ecological initiatives. A festive event, an international event, it is also and above all an opportunity to reflect on the sharing of public space, to imagine new urban uses and to formulate together proposals for the city of tomorrow!

The installation represents a huge mousetrap but instead of placing a piece of cheese, the bait is rather a gas can in connection with our carefree consumption of this resource and the trap that it underlies.
