Description
This home for independent or semi-independent seniors in the Rosemont-Petite-Patrie borough contains 152 units. They are divided into two wings on either side of the St-Eugène Church, maintaining a constant dialogue with it. In an effort to preserve the neighborhood’s collective memory, the project uses the church as the symbol of and motivation behind this complex. The church, which provides areas for community activities and acts as a gathering place, is the core of the project and thus maintains its primary purpose of uniting the community.
